About us
Hedgehogs Nursery, serving Hempstead Village and the surrounding areas makes the most of our wonderful community enjoying local visits and trips. Everyday we run our Woodland School, visiting local woodland and forest spaces. The babies and children enjoy regular visits to Hempstead Library as well as exploring our local parks and play areas. The children develop their physical skills by running, climbing, exploring, challenging themselves and managing their own risks.
Every week, the children visit their 'older friends' at Heatherdale Nursing Home. They love chatting to the residents, playing games with them, finding out about their lives and the similarities and differences between them.
